| Abstract. The Ventura 1000 is a digital lighting control console optimised for the seamless control of both automated moving lights and generic dimming systems. Its principle features of use, flexibility of operation, reliability in harsh environments and longevity of service. Ventura 1000 includes many special functions aimed at simplifying the programming of complex efforts. Click here for the Specification Tables Application. Engineers' and Architects' Specification. The console shall clearly display information via four integral LCD displays. Each display will be able to display information about channel/cue number, channel/cue level, assignments, operating modes, limit levels and fade times. This information shall be encoded in a large format on an external SVGA colour graphics monitor with the option of a second monitor attachment. The console shall be able to individually control 1000 channels of which up to 240 shall be of conventional (highest takes precedence) configuration and the remainder shall be intelligent (latest takes precedence) configuration via 100 lamps selected from an internal library. Each channel shall be able to be patched onto any 0f 1024 dimmers via a DMX output port. Automated lamp control shall be via an intensity, Colour, Beam, Focus, (ICBF) methodology. Lamps shall be selected via individual lamp buttons or by Group buttons or any combination. Attributes shall be applied to lamps via Colour and Beam palette buttons or by a four paged rotary controls. Position shall be controlled by Focus Position buttons or Pan and Tilt rotary controls or Trackball. Intensity shall be controlled by digital fader. Simplified programming shall be achieved by using pre-built templates to create scenes via a Scene Wizard feature. Additional a powerful effects generator allows you to create effects on position, beam, colour and intensity channels. Just by combining any waveform to any lamp channel and controlling delay, spread, speed, wait and synchronization features. The console shall have 999 cues each of which can contain any or all 1000 channels. Any mixture of LTP and HTP channels shall be able to be stored in each cue, as well as up to 3 sequences. A cue shall be able to be programmed with wait, up, hold and down times for each HTP channels and a wait and move times for LTP channels. These times will be in the range of 0.1 secs to 999 seconds and may be split into four time parts for an individual cue. The console shall have the capacity to store up to 10 cue stacks with 999 entries in each, an entry can contain any cue. Stack playback shall be via the digital fader, a single press 'GO' button or MIDI/SMPTE control. Up to four stacks shall be able to run concurrently. The console shall have the ability to store up to 99 sequences with up to 99 steps per sequence, each step may contain any or all of the 1000 channels in any combination. Sequences shall be replayed by assigning them to one or more cue playbacks. Sequences shall be able to have HTP and LTP step fades. Programmed sequences shall be able to have the following step controls: Wild Step, Wild Speed, Audio Step, Audio Speed, Volume Chase. The console shall have an assignable Sound-to-Light feature. Any cue shall have the ability to be programmed to respond to the following sound samples when 'in view'. Bass soft and Bass Hard, Middle Soft and Middle Hard, Treble Soft and Treble Hard. Show data shall be able to be stored to a removable memory card which will conform to the PC Card format. Shows shall also be able to be archived to 1.44Mbyte, 3.5inch floppy disk via an internal drive unit. Internal operating firmware shall be able to be updated by, but not limited to, the following means: PC Card drive, Direct floppy disk drive, Floppy disk drive via the Internet. The console shall be able to operate in temperatures of the range 0 thru 40 degrees Celsius and in humidities up to 95 percent, non-condensing.
